When we are formed
Upside down
And everything here
Is backwards
Forwards
Rolling counter clockwise
Invert the theory
Of relativity
Things are taller
If they are smaller
Thin is wide
Out inside
Blatantly obvious
The vague and obscure
The exposed
Is well hidden
Goodness is forbidden When down is up
Why it's doubtful
Why all dogs go to heaven
The Womb is inside out
A room spacious as the sky
And the world so closed
without a view
little space unbreathable tomb
nothing much to do
I am you
You are you, and I am you
The womb's water
A bloody shade of blue
And all that's leaking
Impossible to seep through
As you fall in and I fall out
A place where no one hears
You when I shout
The Womb is topsy turvy
An ocean to frolic about
A kiddy pool with a deep end
And shallow drain
Around the bend
A heart below a heart
And umbilical brain
That teases quizzically
Loves us metaphysically
Starts when it's over
Buries us at our peak
The sand ate us to bones
And when slapped
Only a protest squeak
Of wet wanderer
Descending
